Don’t despair! there is a quick and easy way to verify your website, which doesn’t involve anything techy!
These days it is so easy to verify your website, using a plugin such as Pinterest Verify, and following some simple steps that I am going to show you.
What are the advantages to verifying your website on pinterest?

How to Verify your Website
Login to your wordpress site. On the left hand side, go to Plugins click Add New.
In the search box, type Pinterest Verify then click Search Plugins
You should then see a screen, with different options, you need this one:
Click on Install Now
This screen will appear, click on Activate Plugin
Click on the button Setup Pinterest Verification Now
In your page description, click on the pen icon.
Insert your website url, and click Verify Website
Now you need to click on Verify with a meta tag.
Copy the long code. Go back into your wordpress site. Go to Settings, Pinterest Verify
Paste the code into the box, and click Save changes
Now, go back to pinterest, and click Complete verification. Job done!
Now that was easy! Just follow the steps, and you can have your website verified in about five minutes!
